Our Grounds

About

Welcome to the Carriage Inn Harrison.  We welcome you to the beautiful property once known as Heritage Hill.  It was first owned by the Browne family and land granted to William H. Browne in the 1880's.  In the 1930's Browne’s son McKinley and his wife built a small cabin and later enlarged it into a home overlooking Budd Lake.  They enjoyed this home and later Mennonites built a “carriage house” to store their antique collection.  This later became the Carriage House Inn, opening in 1994.  The Inn closed in 2006 and sold in 2017 and reopened as the Carriage Inn Harrison.  Once again, guests may enjoy relaxation on the 127-acre grounds.  Overnight stays, weddings, and other events are welcome.
